Avoiding nightmares: Document everything

If it isn't in writing, there's a good chance it will get lost in the shuffle. In addition to the construction documents, ongoing communication should be recorded in meeting notes. Email is a great way to keep information current, and is particularly useful for tracking the history of a decision. The following items must be documented to avoid problems down the road:
