Project feasibility: Cost: Choice of materials: Material choices

Material choices: Selecting the materials that will go into your project involves evaluating the aesthetics and functionality of a wide variety of products. You may choose to make all the selections yourself, have your architect choose, or work with your architect to make selections together. In any case, allow plenty of time, youÕre going to live with your choices. Here is a checklist of some of the choices you will have to make:

Bath:

  • Tile (walls, floor, borders and inlays, bullnose and trim, grout)
  • Decorative hardware (cabinet knobs, hinges)
  • Bath accessories (towel bars, robe hooks)
  • Medicine cabinet
  • Mirror
  • Cabinetry (vanity)
  • Lighting at mirror
