This seventies' contemporary split level was a little tired.  The client wanted to create a more spacious entry and update the interior.  We expanded the dining room by added a second floor to the existing house/garage connector.  The new vestibule is rotated 45 degrees to face both the street and the existing entry path off the driveway.  The lower roof, over the landing step, is clear polycarbonate.  The vestibule gives the house curb appeal while blending with the existing architecture.
