WELLESLEY KITCHEN

This stately Colonial was sited end-wise to the street, so guests typically entered the cramped rear entry rather than walk around to the main entrance.  The project included add a new kitchen and sitting room, and converting the old kitchen to a generous entry.  We opened up the enclosed back stair by removing bearing walls on each side, both to feature the stair and allow light to pass through the addition to the hall and dining room beyond. This addition has many unique features including custom bent-glass corner windows and a curved tray ceiling.
