Weston in the home stretch

One of the coolest details is the aluminum support post holding up the entry roof. It's actually a hollow post that also serves as a downspout for the trough gutter above. It connects to an underground drain, the whole system is invisible. The aluminum will be painted the black window color, but will not be clad to retain it's crisp look. The post and beam were field-welded together.

The same aluminum post detail with hidden drainage supports the side roof.

The cherry soffit is almost done, note the stainless rods suspending the lower roof.

The butterfly roof of the living room is plastered, note the "mud-in" LED linear lights in the ceiling.
